UFC’s Ring Girl Brittney Palmer Q&A
Brittney Palmer What You Need To Know
“Accessories are a turnoff.”
Here at The Dragon Zone, we’re all about helping out our fellow guys. But sometimes advice from one dude to another can only go so far. That’s why we decided to go straight to the source to find out what the world’s hottest women actually expect from us.
We started with Brittney Palmer, the sexy UFC ring girl, talented artist and calendar girl, who is also a candidate for our Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2012.
What’s the biggest grooming mistake a guy can make?
Having one of those little flavor saver things under their bottom lip.
You’re both an artist and a ring girl. So what’s sexier — the alpha male or the scruffy beta guy?
That’s my problem. I want a mixture of both, and to find that is probably the most impossible thing. I think it’s more interesting to have somebody who has an artistic mind and who can speak about art with me and go see museums and love all those things. But, at the same time, I’m very strong and I’m very career-driven, so I want someone who’s very alpha male to help push me in a direction if I’m ever slowing down. So, the both — if I could ever find that, I’d be golden.
Who should pay on first date?
I will always offer, but usually it’s the guy who should pay.
Would you care if a guy picked you up in a garbage-strewn beater?
If it was, like, a 1970s Bronco, no. Otherwise, yeah.
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
Anytime they compliment a personality trait. Those things are the best when I get them. Because all day long you can hear somebody thinks you’re pretty or [compliments] your body, which is really flattering, and I love hearing [it], of course. But I think when people can really reach in and compliment me on my art or who I am as a person, those are the best.
Biggest turn-on in a guy?
A sense of humor.
What jewelry is acceptable for men to wear?
Sh*t. I was going to say that for the turnoff. Accessories are a turnoff. Maybe a simple chain or necklace. That’s it.
Would you date a guy who makes less than it would take to comfortably support a family?
I would date a guy who would make less, but I would never date somebody who was settling. They have to be the best they could be.
One final piece of advice for men in five words or less?
How do you feel about being a candidate on our Top 99 list?
It’s funny — I’d gotten a Google alert or someone had told me that. And I looked and I’m standing next to people like Adriana Lima and some of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. I definitely didn’t think I hold a candle to them, but apparently I do, and it’s awesome. It’s cool. It’s really cool.

This has to be one of the best stories we have heard in a while. And it makes it even better that it is TDZ good friend Renzo Gracie. This story came out of the New York Post Yesterday.
Renzo Gracie, social media Batman.
The legendary MMA trainer and fighter beat up two would-be muggers not far from his Manhattan gym on Thursday night – and tweeted about it in real time.
Gracie, who has trained the likes of UFC stars Georges St. Pierre and Frankie Edgar and competed in the UFC himself, was approached by two men near West 25th Street and 10th Avenue. The men asked him if he had a cigarette and when he said no, one of them pounced.
“I told him I don’t smoke,” Gracie told MMAFighting.com. “He grabbed me by the arm and reached into my front pocket where my wallet was.”
The other man came from the other side, but the encounter didn’t last much longer.
“As the first one arrived, I hit him with a left and a right and he fell,” Gracie said. “When he fell, the other one took off running.”
Gracie, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu master, said he “had a good talk” with the grounded man and “hit him a couple more times.” He also had the time to snap a picture of the man facedown with his iPhone and post it to Twitter with the caption, “My fuckin hands hurt, hurt like hell.” Would-be mugger after being beaten up by Gracie.
The New Jersey resident, who is not a hulking man (5-foot-10, 171 pounds), wasn’t done there, though. Gracie, who had been walking to his car, raced to the vehicle in pursuit of the other thug. When he found him a few blocks away heading back toward his accomplice, Gracie jumped out of his car, ran at him from behind, jumped on his back and choked the man out. He said he hit the man in both eyes so he looks like “a raccoon.”
“I think it’s better than just arresting them,” Gracie said of his own brand of punishment. “It’s a good education process.”
Gracie was tweeting throughout the process, describing the men following him a few blocks and then the aftermath. He tweeted a picture of his scratched up and bruised hand afterward. Gracie’s cut up hands after beating up two would-be muggers.
“Next time I will use only the elbows, damn I miss that feeling, sometimes I wonder if the easy life has been making me soft,” Gracie wrote. “All those years in Brazil, without knowing if I would make it home had to count for something, I can’t lie I could have jump [sic] in a cab. But I could not help [sic], I could spot them from a mile away, walking was my option, thank you mayor Giuliani, nobody carries a gun in our beautiful state, my lucky day, their bad day. My hand hurts and @FrankieEdgar is here at 9:30am for some training.”
Memo to muggers in New York City: Be very aware of who you’re about to steal from.
“They found the best moment that they have attacked and they did,” Gracie said. “If it was someone who didn’t know how to find, they would be a victim for sure.”
We love to see our favorite fighters abuse you guys. Love the show, keep it up you guys.

Dana White Salary
Dana White is the current President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (A.K.A. UFC) and a mixed martial arts organization with an estimated net worth of $150 million. He was born in July 28th, 1969 in Manchester, Connecticut. He spent his youth going back and forth between Las Vegas and Maine. He spent much of his youth involved in sports and is a lifelong fan of the baseball team Boston Red Sox. He would even go to school at Boston University though he did not finish. While he was there he opened up a boxing program for at risk children in the inner-city. To make a living during this time he became an aerobics instructor. In 1992 he established Dana White Enterprises in Las Vegas, it was also during this time that he began managing fighters Chuck Lidell and Tito Ortiz. With his foot in the door as a manager in UFC he found out that Semaphore Entertainment Group, the parent company of the UFC was looking to sell the UFC. Luckily for White he had grown up with Lorenzo Fertita who had made a name for himself as an executive at the Station Casino. Lorenzo quickly saw the profit that could be made and he made a deal to buy the UFC. Lorenzo also invited his older brother Frank to get in the action also. They soon appointed White as president. In the years since buying the UFC White and team have taken the organization which used to be seen a barbaric and illegal and turned into a national phenomenon.
What is Dana White’s salary per year? $5 million
ESPN does a great series called Sport Science where they measure the power and force generated by some of the world’s top athletes. Randy Couture, Bas Rutten and Gina Carano have all been featured on the show. This segment about Cain Velazquez was done just before UFC 121. Cain is off the charts!
Cain’s heart rates maxes out at 168 bpm, and his left hook delivers with 2230 pounds of force!! That’s incredible, AND way higher than anyone they’ve ever tested, including Heavyweight boxing champ James Toney who hits like a ton of bricks himself.
I’ve read some speculation around that Brock Lesnar can’t take a punch. The reality is that Cain Velazquez hits like a brick house!
What has former UFC Ring Girl Edith Labelle been up to? I wonder if enough time has gone by? I think it’s high time that Dana White does a litte reconsidering. Here is Edith Labelle looking hotter than ever. Anyone else think that she needs to come back????????
Honestly Dana, we wouldn’t mind. I swear.
This is a great question and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard
“I am so sore from that last workout!”
I’m sure everyone has experienced muscle soreness after either a hard workout , long hike or even a day of picking up leaves in the yard and I understand why most folks don’t look forward to it , but I know once you understand the actual process that’s going on and all the anti- aging benefits that are related to and even triggered by this soreness technically called adaptive micro trauma you will look at that muscle soreness in a whole new light.
When we work out enzymes and proteins from the muscles leak into the blood stream and trigger inflammation drawing white blood cells to the area . These white blood cells are like a wrecking crew coming in and tearing down the place
this inflammatory reaction than actually triggers the good guys. The building proteins to come in like Master Carpenters and refurbish the muscles and make them even stronger than before.
All these proteins and enzymes are now coursing through your entire body including your organs like your heart and lungs so your entire body also reaps the benefits helping of all these anti-aging proteins and enzymes not just the muscles you trained the day before.
People who workout consistently are actually younger on a molecular level than their out-of-shape counterparts, according to a recent study led by Tim D. Spector, a professor of genetic epidemiology at King’s College in London as reported by the Washington Post.
They found that exercise appears to slow the shriveling of the protective tips on bundles of genes inside cells (called telomeres), which means a slowing of the aging process.
“These data suggest that the act of exercising may actually protect the body against the aging process,” said Professor Spector.
* Telomeres cap the ends of chromosomes and every time a cell divides, the telomeres get shorter.
* Once a telomere gets too short, that cell can no longer divide.
* Aging occurs as more and more cells reach the end of their telomeres and die. This results in weakened muscles, skin wrinkles, loss of eyesight and hearing, organ failure and slowed metal functioning.
* The study analyzed the telomeres from the white bloods cells of twins over a 10-year period. Telomere length was used as a marker for the rate of biological aging.
* It was found that the length of telomeres was directly related to that twin’s activity level. “There was a gradient,” Spector said. “As the amount of exercise increased, the telomere length increased.”
* People who did 100 minutes of weekly exercise had telomeres that looked like those from someone about 5-6 years younger than those who did 16 minutes of exercise each week.
* People who did 3 hours of vigorous exercise each week had telomeres that looked like those from someone about 9 years younger.
What does this mean to you?
The fountain of youth is literally at your fingertips!
NOTE: were talking about muscle soreness in this article not a injury, an injury will only set you back on your FITNESS QUEST so be sure to use good form and train smart.
It’s always a good idea to heat up any sore muscles before your workout with a light warm up and or moist heat and cool them down with ice when you finish , you want to avoid chronic inflammation.
