Vitor Belfort Will NOT Fight Fedor Emilianenko August 1st
It’s was official bjpenn.com broke the news first and posted a video of them speaking with Vitor Belfort himself letting BJ know the news that he will be fighting Fedor Emilianenko August 1st at Affliction: Trilogy. Josh Barnett blew his chances by testing positive for steroids was denied a fight license by the California State Athletic Commission. Now Vitor will be filling those shoes.
It seems now that this fight will not happen and that the Main event will be cancelled due to insufficient time for promotion. Things are changing so rapidly that we don’t know what to expect next.
